Why HolidayCoro Stopped Selling Icicle Lights
Last Updated: 10/20/2025
Factor Repeating Icicles Mini Matrix
Cost More expensive due to complex manual assembly process Lower cost for more pixels
Repair/Durability Custom nature and 4 wire return means repairs are complex Repairs are easy as these are normal 3 wire pixels
Icicle Aesthetics The repeating pattern can look too "consistent" even with the 6-5-4 type spacing. Sequencing software allows any spacing/drops you'd like.
Alternate Uses Icicles have one purpose - icicles and they can't do other effects, limiting your choices to use them. A 8 pixel tall matrix allows icicles of any drop pattern, scrolling text, candy cane striping, UV meters, snow drop, fire and many other effects.
