Q: How can I mount these to a house outline / gutter:
A: There are many methods for mounting based on budget, aesthetics and substrate mounting surface (brick, wood, metal, etc) but here are two common methods:

• Gutters
  • On face of a gutter - Use standard C9 style bulb clips. The disadvantage to this method is that each bulb has to be installed individually.
  • Below the gutter / On Fascia - Mount the Brilliant Bulb to 1/2" PVC pipe using 8" zip ties and then mount the PVC pipe below the gutter using our lexan pipe clip. The advantage to this method is that it makes the bulb less exposed to sunlight, shields them from external lights (street lights, moon light) so they appear brighter and protects them from snow and ice damage or build-up.
• Fascia / Roof Lines - Mount the Brilliant Bulb to 1/2" PVC pipe and then mount the PVC pipe below the gutter using our lexan pipe clip. This allows you to build the entire assembly on the ground and then install all the lights at one time. It is also easier to remove and inexpensive. Additionally, it allows the lights to be pivoted from straight out to straight up.
• Ground / Sidewalk and Driveway outlines
  • Close to the ground - Use C9 ground stakes
  • Fence / Raised - Mount Brilliant Bulbs to 1/2" or 3/4" PVC pipe using zip ties. Then about every 3-4 feet, use a PVC tee. Use rebar in the ground and slide the vertical support pipes over the rebar. Here is a diagram that shows this setup:
    
    Purple = 1/2" or 3/4" PVC pipe
    Orange = Brilliant Bulbs
    Black = 8" Zip Ties
    Blue = PVC Tee
    Red = Rebar
    Green = Ground
• Professional Grade Mounting Track - Using the LiteClip Strip (external link) , along with the C9LCS clip, allows you mount the brilliant bulb to many surfaces with adjustable spacing.

Q: How can I mount these bulbs for a sidewalk, driveway, flower bed or other similar outline on the ground?
A: There is no one specific way but here are some suggestions:
* PVC Pipe "Fence" - Using 3/4" PVC pipe and 3/4" PVC "Tees", make a rail with tees spaced about every 4 feet going vertical. Hammer rebar into the ground and slide the vertical section of pipe over the rebar. Using an 8 inch zip tie on each side of the bulb, attach the bulbs to the horizontal PVC pipe.
* "C9" Style Stakes - There are a large variety of C9 stakes - search google for "C9 Stake". These come in a variety of heights. You may wish to verify compatibility with the stakes using a sample bulb.
