Product Features
Falcon Controllers is a respected name in the pixel display community, but their product line has limitations that affect builders during peak season:
- Falcon offers a very limited selection of assembled controllers with no customization possible
- Assembled controllers are typically delayed during peak season
- It is not uncommon for Falcon controller boards to be out of stock - this could be a problem when you need a another or a replacement ASAP
HolidayCoro takes a different approach: we ship fully customizable pixel controllers - choose your CPU, power output, voltage, SPI port count, long-range ports, and warranty - and we ship them same or next business day, even on custom configurations.

Customizable assembled controllers - same shipping speedFalcon's assembled controllers come in a fixed configuration with no customization. HolidayCoro lets you specify the CPU, power output, voltage, SPI port count, long-range receiver ports, and warranty term - and the customized controller still ships same or next business day. Santa's Workshop Live Tracker shows you the build in real time. Same xLights workflowIf you are coming from Falcon, the workflow is identical: HolidayCoro controllers configure directly through xLights with one button. Frequently Asked QuestionsWill my existing Falcon xLights setup work with a HolidayCoro controller? - Yes. Your xLights sequences output E1.31 universes - HolidayCoro controllers receive E1.31 identically to Falcon. The controller-level config (IP, universe assignment, port mapping) is rebuilt automatically when xLights detects the new HolidayCoro controller. Your sequences themselves are unchanged. What about Falcon Pi Player (FPP)? - FPP runs on a Raspberry Pi and outputs E1.31 to any compliant controller, including HolidayCoro. Your FPP setup is independent of which controller hardware you use. We also sell the Falcon Pi Player fully assembled (SKU 862) if you need one. Are HolidayCoro controllers as reliable as Falcon hardware? - HolidayCoro Flex controllers use industrial-grade components and the HC-2500 weatherproof rated enclosure. We have shipped this controller family since 2018. Extended warranty options cover both inbound and outbound shipping for warranty service. Can I run Falcon and HolidayCoro controllers on the same display? - Yes. Both speak E1.31 over Ethernet. Multiple controllers from multiple vendors coexist on a single network and are sequenced together from one xLights installation. Mixed-vendor displays are common.
