5 of 5 good strip at a good price October 25, 2014

The extruded aluminium channel that is called the Base was just right for my project. I needed something with a very slim profile to fit into a tight ceiling edge. It worked great for the application. I did not need the mounting hardware because I drilled holes in the base for attachment to the structure. The diffuser covers were white so they blended in with the ceiling very nicely.
I'm not sure of this because I did not do a ton of research, by I do believe that HolidayCoro had the best price for this product.
If you buy this to get rid of hot spots in your strip of lights, it will not work. I have installed 5050 RGB Waterproof strips flush onto the base using the 3M adhesive to give the maximum distance from the LED to the diffuser in order to get rid of the hot spot's and it still did not totally get rid of them. You still see the individual LED hot spots but it does help smooth it out some. And for my installation I simply needed it to hide the strip during the daylight hours.

5 of 5 Strip Mounting Hardware October 16, 2014

Used these to mount 4 full-length strips under 4 beams in my cabana (a total of 20 sections of mounts).  Drilled holes in the base first and then screwed base pieces into the beams.  Used tape to help hold the strips while I added the covers.  For the covers, I slotted the cover on one side, then used my thumb to push along the opposite side to connect.  Once I figured out my technique on the first one, the other 19 went in smoothly.  They look great and much better than exposed strips which is important as these will be permanently mounted.

These mounts make outlining your house with pixel strips very convenient and protect the strips if you want to leave them up all year.

4 of 5 pixel mounting strips June 18, 2014

The strip is aluminum with a plastic cover time will tell if the cover is going to last.
They are easy to use, longer lengths would be nice but not viable for shipping purposes.
They do NOT come with screws for the end caps and finding them has proven challenging
I used silicone to seal them for the first project hope I can find the right screws for the next project.
Removing the plastic cover is fairly easy but feels like they will break easy, when removing use caution and take your time
Over all I am pleased with these and do recommend them for rigid mounting options
