This worked great at first December 26, 2015 Reviewer: Nick V from California   I had been having a good experience with the product when I first bought it, and it was working just fine. Then, all of the sudden, one night my show just cut out. I saw the lights on the ActiDongle weren't illuminating as per usual. I tried different ways of plugging it in, changed all my cables out, and was still having the same thing. I discovered that the ports on the ActiDongle were extremely sensitive to even the slightest of movements. I had to basically secure everything down to a wood board to keep things from not moving around. I'm hoping HolidayCoro can do right by this and check the hardware they use for future production. Excetillent Value December 23, 2015 Reviewer: Jesse from New Jersey   Having just started getting into the whole holiday lighting display, I was looking for a cheap and simple way to connect DMX to my computer to control some modified RGB floodlights. OSX El Capitan October 31, 2015 Reviewer: Jay from Trumbull, CT   I have 2 of these, they're great. You will need to disable the Apple FTDI driver to get this to work with DMX lighting control software if you upgrade to OS X El Capitan. Open Terminal.app and run the following command: sudo kextunload -b com.apple.driver.AppleUSBFTDI This command will have to be run each time your Mac is restarted Was this review helpful to you?
