  • My Pixels Don't Work
    • Listed below is the entire chain of items that must work for your pixels to work based on different test methods
    • Likelihood
      1 = Low
      5 = High

      Actual Sequence Playback
      4 Pixels must be configured in controller X
      5 Pixels must be functional / not shorted, damaged X
      4 Too many pixels connected / wrong voltage pixels for power supply X
      2 Power injection is used and incorrectly setup X
      1 Extension cable must be functional X
      1 Controller pigtail cable must be functional X
      2 Connection of pigtail to controller board or plug must be functional X
      3 The fuse for the output must be functional / not blown X
      3 The output port / buffer chip (AlphaPix Classic) must be functional X
      2 The ribbon cable connection (AlphaPix Evolution & Hinkspix PRO) must be functional X
      1 The controller CPU must be functional (including firmware) X
      2 The network connection from the controller to the network must be functional X
      4 The network cable must be functional / undamaged X
      3 The network switch / router must be functional (if not direct to PC) X
      5 The IP address & subnet must be properly configured on controller and PC X
      4 The PC must not have any software / firewall blocking traffic X
      4 The sequencing application / console must be configured to output data correctly
