Product Features
  • General Product Information
    • Basic / Dumb control over elements that use RGB lights that do not need individual control. Element examples would include:
      • Balls (MegaBall, North Pole Ball)
      • Mini Trees (RGB Mini Tree)
      • Flood lights
    • DMX addressing:
      • Addressable from DMX address 1 to 510 using build in DIP switches
      • Controller can be configured via DIP switch to have a variety of test modes - the following is the map for optional sequences:
        • Turn ON switch 10 to activate built-in sequences
          • Turning ON switch 10 will prevent the controller from responding to DMX input signals
        • Switches 1-9 OFF: Black / No Output
        • Switch 1 ON: Red
        • Switch 2 ON: Green
        • Switch 3 ON: Blue
        • Switch 4 ON: Yellow
        • Switch 5 ON: Purple
        • Switch 6 ON: White
        • Switch 7 ON: Not Used
        • Switch 8 ON: Seven different colors
        • Switch 9 ON: When this switch is turned on, along with switch 8 being on, then switches 1 to 7 will adjust the speed of the changes between the seven different colors
        • Switch 10 ON: Envoke test mode (requires other switches to be turned on or off)
      • The small size of this controller allows mounting directly to elements. If needed, the controller can be removed from the included case/box to further reduce the size of the controller (controller must located in a waterproof location.)
      • Easy to mount with either screws (two on each side) or with hot glue to the base.
      • We have found these controllers to be nearly bullet proof with features like:
        • Short circuit protection on the inputs and outputs
        • Over current protection
        • Great for use in distributed controller elements.
  • Included, optional and customer supplied items
    • Items included with this item/product/bundle:
      • One DMX Controller
      • Water resistant housing/case (IP64).

      • Power supply (see our FAQ page for information about how large of a power supply you will need for your project / element.)
      • RS485 based DMX signal source (see below)
      • DMX generating software (see below)

5 of 5 Great product for dumb RGB's August 16, 2022
Reviewer: John Morimanno from Garrett, IN United States
I ran into an issue where i needed a dumb RGB controller at a remote location. This controller  makes it easy to setup a  you don't need to buy a big setup when you only need it for one prop.  The price is great and it is easy to use.
HolidayCoro Rocks!!

5 of 5 Great product September 29, 2021
Reviewer: Chasin Rudolph from Calgary, AB Canada
I started using these last year as part of the candy cane pole topper package. I liked the results so much I built some large bucket lights using these to line my driveway.  See how I use holiday Coro dumb nodes and controllers here: https://chasinrudolph.ca/2021/09/28/building-the-bucket-lights

These controllers are great value and easy to work with, I now have 25 incorporated into my 2021 display

4 of 5 Works as advertised, simple setup December 16, 2017
Reviewer: Chris Vanderbles from Richmond, TX United States
This was a replacement for some other dumb controllers that I accidentally blew up.  They work great and were easy to get going.  Only two small dislikes.  One controller arrived with a screw loose inside and would have blown the board if not removed.  Would like to see slightly better weather proofing, but that's asking for a lot for $10 a pop...
