5 of 5 Very good Data Boosters July 28, 2025
Reviewer: Michael M. from Texas, United States
Trust me.  If you are going to have cable or wire runs of twenty feet or longer.  You will need these.  The WS28xx format allows for a lot of interference to get into the data lead.  This will show up as flickering or even lights not turn on at all.  Just go ahead and order these before you assemble your lights.  They are cheap for all the good that they will do for you.  These are great data boosters as they are sealed in epoxy and are water tight.

5 of 5 Work great for longer runs July 13, 2025
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
Needed some 30' lengths for 12-volt bullet pixels. At full white power, the pixels were erratic - blinking/skipping. Added this after a 20' cable, and worked great.

5 of 5 Signal Boosters June 1, 2025
Reviewer: Joshua Gilbert from WALLINGFORD, CT United States
Had intermittent flickering on a a pair of 20x20 matrix nets when an xconnect extension wire was used.   Oddly I need one before AND after the extension which told me both the TX (cheap aliexpress esp32 wled controller) and RX (raywu 2811 net) circuits were not ideal.   These cleaned up the signal and got my display working properly.

5 of 5 F-Amp fixed problems with prop December 18, 2024
Reviewer: Bob Sanson from Maryville, IL United States
I had a prop at the end of a 25-foot x-connect extension that was glitchy and couldn't do white at 30%. After Joe Hinkle's explanation of how these worked, I put the F-Amp between the xtn and the prop and problems went away.

5 of 5 Cure MANY Flicker Problems December 10, 2024
Reviewer: George Gallo from Madison, AL United States
Use many of these to make my flicker problems at end of long runs go away. I have some props 60’ from the controller (12Vdc pixels) and while power was never a problem, data was. This fixes that issue. In some cases I have one of these every 20’ on a long runs and never have a problem.

Purchased F-Amp for lights acting erratically after power injection did not  solve my problem. They worked perfectly and my problem was solved. In addition they are solidly constructed and well marked for easy installation

4 of 5 Mostly worked May 30, 2024
Reviewer: CES from PLAIN CITY, UT United States
I had a big review written but I erased it leave a more concise review of the product and less of a rant.
3 of the 4 nulls I installed worked great but the 4th blew itself and the following led light. Both had to be removed to get the lights down line working again. Customer service said they'd sold 4k+ of these and never had a problem so I must be the problem. That was the extent of their help. Was I the problem? Possibly, but I was very careful to orient (they are directional) and test as I installed each one so I contend I wasn't.

5 of 5 Growing system... needed data boost! December 19, 2023
Reviewer: Michael Peterman from Mulberrry, FL United States
my lighting controller is in the middle of my house. I thought this would be a great location with lights since I have lights kinda spread all over. I should have used several controllers and just networked them, but these signal boosters solved the problem. Some of my lights are 60 feet from the controller, so these were necessary. Thanks HC!
