5 of 5 Excellent December 30, 2021
Reviewer: William Obrien from Manchester, MD United States
Ordered 4 total with the nodes. First one was a learning experience, the last 3 we're easy. Maybe a total of 4 hours to out all 4 together.

5 of 5 Takes time to assemble but worth it! December 25, 2021
Reviewer: Mike from NORTH BEND, WA United States
My suggestion, attach the lid with white zip ties. You can’t see them and if there is any issue you can quickly open it up. I also added a few zip ties on the back to hold excess cables to keep my display clean!

4 of 5 Neat idea December 20, 2021
Reviewer: Chuck from MA, United States
These cane kits are well-made and the instructions are very clear.  The only reason I hesitate to give 5 stars is that they are much dimmer than other props.  Doing it over, I might have doubled the modules per cane; it couldn't have hurt.

These take a lot of time, patience, and a steady hand to assemble, what with soldering the modules onto plugs, and all the cutting and gluing.  I would not have had time to put 16 of them together, but did get the housekeeper to do the gluing, so they're in the show.

They take more power than I thought based on the rating of the modules.  A string of 4 definitely has to have power looped to the far end, and it is of some benefit to insert in the middle also.

The velcro for attaching to a post didn't work out for me, but if you manage to do the rest of the assembly you'll have no problem putting band clamps in later, like I did.

5 of 5 Love the candy canes December 5, 2021
Reviewer: Eric Walls from Gresham, OR United States
I really like these candy canes. I put them under my mega tree in a little row. They add so much to my display.
They do take a lot of hot glue (don't burn yourself) and a bit of time. Everything is printed out, and easy to follow. If you mess up there is always plenty of material to make a quick repair. Very sturdy when complete, just drive a stake and attach them with the included Velcro. Good design.

5 of 5 Look great when assembled. November 29, 2021
Reviewer: Geoffrey from WINSTON SALEM, NC United States
They look great when assembled and people LOVE them in my show.

1) OPEN THE BOX OUTSIDE.  I ordered four of these.  Because of the sheer volume of coro included and the number of perforations, there was about 1 cubic foot of coroplast dust in the box.  It was EVERYWHERE.

2) They won't be perfect.  Don't obsess over getting everything perfect.  Don't worry, they'll still look great from the street.

3) HolidayCoro should update the assembly videos.  The video here shows the v1 product and I had to guess (correctly, thankfully) at many of the steps when making the first one.  The initial video is directionally accurate, but it needs to be updated to reflect the current product.

4) This is not a quick project.  Each candy cane will take a considerable amount of time to assemble.  It gets faster after the first one, but be prepared - you'll get bored halfway through, so spread it out over a few days.

With all this said, this product is excellent

4 of 5 Very nice addition! December 28, 2018
Reviewer: Francisco Cano from Greenville, PA United States
The electronics and the structure of the Canes are very good. The small controller is  adequate. I find them not to be very bright. I wonder if this is something  I am not doing on my end. I have the rectangle pixel modules. I am also  having a tough time creating a sequence for them. I have a total of 6 Candy Canes and the colors are off on 2 of them. I need to spend more time working with them so I can improve. I have seen the videos from other people and they look great. I will keep working. I would definitely buy them again and highly recommend them.
