Love that these are hefty cables and actual 18AWG! One thing needs improvement is almost every the male connectors ends I received were warped. It is not the first set I have gotten from Holiday Coro that was like this. They still fit in the female ends, but it can be difficult to get them inserted and sometime the threads feel like you are going to cross thread the female cover. Maybe a Male end cover to prevent the warping while storing/shipping them would help or when bought in a bundle, have the male and female ends connected together? ---- HOLIDAYCORO RESPONSE ---- This is actually by design. Controllers inherently have a tough life and customers step on the connectors and connectors are damaged in storage. So many years ago we switched from a brittle but "strong" plastic that would not deform but when exposed to crushing pressures, the nuts would crack in half. As a result, we switched to a more malleable plastic that would deform rather than crack when exposed to damage as it was easier to reform the plug when deformed than remove the entire cable and replace the nut when cracked in half. Here is an article that explains how this works and how to retore the connection on these nuts: https://support.holidaycoro.com/portal/en/kb/articles/restoring-shape-to-a-waterproof-cable-male-threads-or-female-nut-deformed-mis-shapen
