Brilliant Bulbâ„¢ are exactly that!!!! December 19, 2021 Reviewer: Rob Slaughter from Montgomery, TX United States   These lights seem indestructible, well built and are the brightest Smart / Pixel bulbs I have seen.  The various spacing (4", 8" & 12") allow different choices to be made based upon your needs and viewing distance. .  The sample program allows for testing and to confirm your mounting methods.  HC offers many different mounting methods. We have used the 4" spacing closer to the road (110' feet) and the 12" spacing for the back & sides of the house and out buildings.  I will be adding the 8" versions to a few areas next year. Best looking bulbs in the show December 19, 2021 Reviewer: Chuck from MA, United States   Using these for the yard outline and the roof outline.  They're gorgeous up close, or at a distance.  Nice and bright. The reviewer who said they were not bright or colorful should check that the "gamma" setting is 2.5 or so (as it needs to be for most things to give good color reproduction), and that the controller refresh rate is set correctly. Also recommend the mounting strips, zip tie them to the pipe and then clip the pipe to the house. These will go 100 bulbs without power insertion, maybe a few more than that before they yellow.  If you loop power from the same controller port you can do 200 on a single port with great brightness and color. Decent quality, but not very bright December 9, 2021 Reviewer: David from ARGYLE, TX United States   I've used 900 of these (18 strands at 8" spacing) on roof outline (front and sides, 2 stories, 3 dormers). They were pretty easy to install once I figured out where to install the long-range receivers.  In previous years I had used Minleon retrofit C9 bulbs with a custom color pattern. I decided to upgrade to RGB so that I could change the pattern each year (or for different holidays). I just want a static display, maybe with some subtle effects.  My main complaints are that the bulbs aren't as bright as the Minleons and the color range seems very limited. There might be 16,777,216 RGB values, but the vast majority of them end up just looking white. It was difficult to pick colors that would actually show up (we just wanted a deep/warm red-green-white pattern). And at a distance they all just fade together so that you can't even tell that there's a pattern.  Overall I'm disappointed, but too heavily invested to back out now. I'll probably add more next year to see if that helps. Was this review helpful to you?

Beautiful, bright light but globes fill with water November 30, 2021 Reviewer: Kirk Williams from Miami, OK   These look amazing.  Brighter than regular C9s .  The cable is of decent quality.  The globes will fill with water as they are not sealed from the environment.  The back caps also aren't affixed particularly well and will often pop off which leaves the back epoxy exposed.
