Simple... January 2, 2013 Reviewer: Neverhart from Maineville, OH United States   I think it took me all of a couple minutes to install the software and program my 3 Channel RGB controllers with this cable.  I looked for an alternative, but frankly the hassle just isn't worth it - grab this and be done with it. USB DMX Module Address Programmer November 15, 2012 Reviewer: Thomas L Terry from Decatur, AL United States   Not much you can say about a usb dongle... kind of pricey for what it is. --- HolidayCoro Reponse --- We really try to keep the price down but recently had to increase it when we paid to have the address programming application re-wrote.  This re-programming cost alone was greater than that of all the programmer hardware sold in 2012 and that is what drives the cost of the programmer "package".  We still believe it's a reasonable value given that it also will output DMX with selected sequencing applications. Dont leave home with out it.... November 13, 2012 Reviewer: Bob Moody from Huntsville, TX United States   This device is a MUST HAVE if you are breaking into DMX and using the HC 3 channel controllers. Use it for what it is .. a PROGRAMMING CABLE.. if you are running ONLY one DMX controller then yes you can use it for your show.. if your running more than one, and you will.. you need to get a device to run your DMX system.
