5 of 5 Very Happy with this Purchase February 3, 2016
Reviewer: Felix Garcia from Fort Worth, TX United States
I was slightly concerned when purchasing the AlphaPix 16 controller.  I am a novice at electricity and new to light sequencing.  I was able to get the device connected, tested and within a couple of hours, I was beginning to sequence the first set of lights that I had.  I am very happy with my purchase and after just a couple of weeks of working with the controller, I am already very comfortable with the device capabilities.  I had to email HolidayCoro with a minor technical question but I got a response the very next day and I was back to sequencing.

5 of 5 Easy Entry Into E1.31 January 21, 2016
Reviewer: Jeffery M. from China Grove, NC United States
Wow! It can't be any easier to enter the world of E1.31 than this.  With all the instructions provided I was able to put together a great show thanks to HC!  I did experience the random flashing pixels using LOR software but the HC Blog solved my problem by a simple update.

1 of 5 Dead Universes! December 23, 2015
Reviewer: Steven Collins from Ridgecrest, CA United States
I have never had a problem with coro's services or products!,,,, but please buyer beware of this? I purchased this controller, and UNIVERSE 11 is dead!,,,, I have jumped through all of the "tests" with still the same result!,,, DEAD UNIVERSE 11!,,, COROS response was just buy another junk controller from us and we will determine how much money we will refund you! Plenty of other options out there and making me "purchase" another controller when this thing is clearly DEAD?,,, NOT RIGHT!
----- HOLIDAYCORO RESPONSE ----
We try our best to resolve every problem but sometimes it isn't possible for customers to provide sufficient technical information necessary for us to narrow the problem down to a root cause (as what the case here) and in those cases we offer two options - either cross-ship replacement where we pre-ship a new unit to customers along with a pre-paid return label/box and provide a full refund upon return of the defective hardware or for customers that do not wish to expend the deposit for the replacement unit, we send a pre-paid return label and then ship the replacement upon receipt of the defective hardware - again, all at no expense to the customer.  Many years ago we tried working on an honor system for customers to send the defective units back to us but this proved problematic and time consuming, thus why we have switched to a cross-ship replacement program.

5 of 5 Love this controller! December 12, 2015
Reviewer: Bob from Southern CA, United States
Used it for Halloween and Christmas 2015, a pleasure to physically connect and configure using its webpage. I used it to drive the pixel strips on the house eaves and, via its included RS485 output, to also remotely drive an EasyPix on some arches.

Only a couple of very minor gotchas as I recall... the internet connection socket is very cramped when the PCB is screwed-down to the CG1500 mounting case. I recommend not using a cable with a "boot" on it (I believe David mentions this somewhere). Also, when the AlphaPix16 is mounted in the CG1500 case, you can no longer access the screw holes to mount the case onto a structure (so mount the case first).

This controller is very versatile and functional. I have never set up a display before this year but after watching their videos I was able to figure it out. This controller played a big part of it.

Reviewer: Thomas Chapman from St. Marys Georgia USA
Lights are on . Thanks Holidaycoro , love the new V2 Alphapix controller. There are 7100 lights on the front (24 foot long matrix) of the house using strips and 1800 on the tree with the singers on the side.
