Product Features

Each order includes the following:

One custom machined plastic cap and LED mounting post

The following items are required to complete your MegaBall:

Three galvanized self-tapping screws for attaching the cap to the globe (see above)
Length of 4" DWV Sewer Pipe "ASTM D2729" - we recommend about 4ft lengths. This can be purchased at most major hardware and supply stores. Please note there are two types of DWV pipe (with different ASTM numbers), so we recommend taking your insert with you to test before purchasing your pipe(s).
Three RGB LED modules, each with 3 RGB LED Modules (a total of 27 LEDs) (see above)
One DMX controller. Requires one power supply for each 10 globes. Requires plastic globes, misc other parts and tools for DIY assembly - see our instructions for additional details. Programmer required for DMX controller(s). (see above)
One 5 foot CAT5 Cable (fits posts under 4 1/2 feet tall) (see above)
One three way CAT5 splitter (see above)
12v Power Supply (see Accessories listed below for our waterproof power supply). One of our 12v, 45 watt power supplies will run 10 MegaBalls
DMX Controller programmer - Use our programmer to set the start address of the DMX controller or you maybe able to use an RS-485 adapter (such as LOR's) that you already have to set the address. See our programmer instructions for additional information.

Great but tight fit!	November 20, 2012

They Candy Cane post topper is a great item and looks excellent when complete.

My only complaint is the hammering of the 1/2" pipe in to the center of the post topper. It is a very very tight fit. I know it is meant to be so it doesn't slip but even if it were a fraction of an inch bigger would help. I cracked 2 of them hammering that piece in, it was fixable with hot glue but was also a bit frustrating.

Other than that, great stuff!

What a GREAT idea and kudos to HolidayCoro on this one. This was the first item I have purchased from HC and the product exceeded ALL of my expectations. While I didnt follow the build up "exactly" (I think I improved on the idea LOL) the parts were high quality and the HC's videos and instruction are stellar !! You want an eye popper for your display.. add a few of these!!
