5 of 5 Really Great Product September 1, 2020
Reviewer: Dom from CHESAPEAKE BEACH, MD United States
This 16 port board allowed me to consolidate with room to spare.

Configuration is challenging - Watch Joe's videos! You need a thorough understanding of data streams and how they relate to each SPI.

I built my own excel spreadsheet (HC has one somewhere). I broke it down to 4 indiv Data streams, and put each prop assigned to a data stream in order. I assigned channel numbers to each one and populated channels, pixel numbers... I went to xlights and reorganized every single prop in order to match. The key is that each channel is sequential, starting with data stream 1 through 4.

Finally, configure the board. NOTE: CPU Firmware 81 is req'd w/a factory reset! Input the xlights data one by one on the E131 page -  the universes, pixels and channels must be identical to the order in xlights and in order. Once done, you can configure the SPI outputs - pay close attention to what port does what.

Watch the videos - the result will be VERY rewarding. This product is great!
