Pixel spacing may not be 3" July 29, 2015
Reviewer: Mike Krebs from Wisconsin
I ordered these in the 1st pre-sale 2015.

I bought these 3" spacing for a 3" pixnode strip layout for my first 12 foot mega tree. Some of the pixels do not reach 3" spacing. It would appear the manufacturer did not us a 3" jig when they created them (specifically in the epoxy phase). Some of the pixels only reach about 2.75" causing the strips to buckle and the wires to get pulled tight which causes the next one to be cockeyed which causes...

The great new idea for 2015 of using the pixnode strips is kind of a bust at this point for me. Rather than give up on the 12 foot tree (2" spacing would end up at 8 feet), I will have to come up with some way to make them work. I think maybe a little strain relief between the 1" and 2" holes for those strings that are not spaced adequately might work. I guess that is another reason we buy cable ties by the hundreds!

If you are planning 3" spacing and using pixnode strips, you might be better off going with the 8" spaced pixels.

Great product! July 22, 2015
Reviewer: Paul Stube from Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Between the 1st and 2nd presales of this year, I've purchased about 85 sets of 50 pixels for my mega tree, bushes, and garland. I'm about 1/2 way through testing them and I haven't come across one single issue yet. I love these lights. Great light output and easy to work with.

Pixel RGB Strip May 31, 2015
Reviewer: Kent from Centerville, UT United States
I changed spacing on my mega tree and needed extra lights as the first layout was strings of 50 pixels spaced 3" apart. I actually spaced them in Pixel Strips 2" apart with a string length of 79 Pixels per string. These helped keep all the pixels of the same kind

Excellent quality pixels May 14, 2015
Reviewer: Andrew from United States
I have bought pixels from other vendors and rarely had this low of a pixel failure rate. I bought 12 of the 50 pixel strings and had only 1 pixel that sometimes flicker another color.

When the description says they are waterproof, it's actually waterproof. These lights remained in working condition through several rain storms, while some of my old strings fail when they get wet.

I was a bit surprised at the 3" spacing at first since the pixels I've previously bought elsewhere had more like 4" spacing. But I found myself to enjoy the 3" spacing a bit more now.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of these pixels.
