Brittle plastic November 30, 2023 Reviewer: DL6 from Fargo, ND   These work to attach the bulbs. The plastic is brittle and it often cracks and breaks when you’re pushing the bulbs through. The wire can shift over the screw holes during installation, so it would be easy to put a screw through the wire. Was this review helpful to you?

Great fit for Brilliant Bulbs December 8, 2022 Reviewer: Ben King from Dawsonville, GA United States   These are great fitting strips for the Brilliant Bulbs. I've noticed one flaw, which is why I've removed 1 star. After a season of sun exposure on the roof, a few of my strips have be come brittle and snapped. They're so cheap though to replace, it's not too big of a deal, but still something to keep in mind. Was this review helpful to you?

Easy install, but prone to crack November 30, 2022 Reviewer: Dan P from Brownsburg, IN United States   Install is 1000% easier with C9 pixels on these than classic bullet pixels in mounting strip. Downside is they are prone to cracking. Product is more rigid than normal mounting strip. Had a section where 4 cracked just from bending while loading them. Hoping those will hold or I can rig some zip ties to hold lights in place over season. Was this review helpful to you?

Useful December 19, 2021 Reviewer: Chuck from MA, United States   Couldn't have done the house and yard outlines without these.  Zip tied to 1/2" schedule 40 or 3/4" CPVC and clipped or staked in place as appropriate. My only comment is that the diameter of the tie holes is not consistent.  I much prefer the larger holes, as they allow a 5" zip tie to pass easily.  One 4" zip tie is not long enough. Great idea but materials aren't great quality. November 30, 2021 Reviewer: Kirk Williams from Miami, OK   I am on year 2 of using the mounting strips.  The pictures on the site show black strips but I purchased white.  Unfortunately, it turns dark yellow instantly.  It will be a very dark yellow by the end of the first season.  It also is fairly brittle-especially near the holes where the lights snap in.  Several of them have cracked.  Luckily, they still hold the lamps fairly well if the ones on both sides remain intact. Great idea.  It keeps the lights all straight and makes mounting them much easier.  Unfortunately, the yellowing of the material takes away from the aesthetics of an otherwise professional installation. I may try again with the black strips but I definitely don't plan to reorder the white. Was this review helpful to you?
