There are multiple ways to mount your tree to the ground. This one is reasonably priced, and you'll want to get some tent stakes to prevent it shifting.

This a great item well worth the money , just be sure you have you tree secured well with long spikes and guide wires or rope , ,I broke my first one when we had high winds and the tree not secured well

Works, but did not hold tree pole (8 foot) straight upright on its own which is what I was expecting. Still useful and worth the purchase, just required tie downs. If perhaps the spreader were twice as thick and wide it could support the pole on its own.
