Product Features
  • Each order includes the following:
    • One custom machined plastic cap and LED mounting post
  • The following items are required to complete your MegaBall:
    • Three galvanized self-tapping screws for attaching the cap to the globe (see above)
    • Length of 4" DWV Sewer Pipe "ASTM D2729" - we recommend about 4ft lengths. This can be purchased at most major hardware and supply stores. Please note there are two types of DWV pipe (with different ASTM numbers), so we recommend taking your insert with you to test before purchasing your pipe(s).
    • Three RGB LED modules
    • Controller, power, cabling as needed
    • Globes NOT included but can be purchased here: 8" Globes from: https://www.superiorlighting.com/8-inch-plastic-globe-plain-lip-opening-white-acrylic/
      • NOTE that Superior Lighting only ships to US addresses
    • Misc items - Soldering iron/solder, hot glue, etc.

The shipment of the product was very quick (just like all of my previous orders). I haven't had a chance to build/test the prop yet, but it appears to be exactly what I was wanting to add to my show.

my first step away from LOR and into DMX, the instruction videos are excellent and the controllers and lights worked as expected (once I figured out the correct way to set up DMX in LOR)

Everything was delivered  in a timely fashion, had a small issue with a set of square nodes, but HC was able to send out replacements.

I had ordered so of these a few years back and since I’ve moved I needed more of these for my display. They are simple to setup just read the directions and make sure you order the correct pvc pipe. I used a little stouter PVC pipe but the insert is easy to modify and make fit. Can’t imagine how anyone could gripe about the fit to the pvc pipe, if you are in this hobby modifying things is what we do. Holiday Coro provides the link for the globe so everything is pretty simple and these will last a lifetime.
