Well built panel easy to set up and great for control of remote smaller sections of display.   Based on an older version of the same controller, it is very reliable and stands up well to wet cold winter weather.  We also found the  EasyPlug connectors are easier to work with in cold weather than other vendor versions.

Easy to operate & took no time at all. November 27, 2018
Reviewer: Casey Davis from EDMOND, OK United States
I've always loved the look of the old style C9's. This year I outlined my house, garage and windows with 8" spaces C9s. They were really easy to install with the mounting strips and they look perfect. Using xLights, along with some of the test patterns from the AlphaPix 4, I'm displaying a different pattern/color every night. It's so easy, and beautiful.

The AlphaPix by default had a static IP of 192.168.0.50, my network is 192.168.1.0/24, so at first I thought I'd have to go back on the roof to put the controller in DHCP mode. Fortunately I did not! I static-ly moved my computer to the 0 subnet and used the AlphaPix's webpage to set it to DHCP mode. Easy as that!

Aplha Pix4 - The Brain!! September 11, 2018
Reviewer: Ryan F from St. Joseph, IL United States
I started with the AlphaPix4 to get my feet wet. It was very easy to set up by following the directions included and online.  I did have to let my network assign it an ip address first, then change the default of the controller to match in order to see it over my network.  Once I got past that, it was easy to link to the lights and get it running.  I am using Vixen as the light show designer and have not had any trouble with compatibility.  I plan on getting a few more of these in the future.
