Product Features
This OFFSPEC item is the exact same chip, wire and LED as our standard 2811 pixel node, the only difference is that the epoxy used for this batch of pixels was not of the right formulation for high temperature conditions. As a result, the pixel epoxy casting has yellowed while they were stored in our warehouse for the last year. These are still 100% waterproof, still have the same optical characteristics of regular nodes and still safe for use outside, including higher temperatures - this issue is purely cosmetic. Limited stock. Includes our standard warranty for the entire 2015 season.

5 of 5 Pixels May 27, 2015
Reviewer: William Childers from Casa Grande, AZ United States
Have not tried to use the pixels at this time but see no reason they won't work.  Epoxy sealant is slightly discolored.  Cover on the pixels is not affected so I do not expect any change in coloration from the leds.

5 of 5 These lights work great May 21, 2015

The back end housing might be a little discolored but it doesn't effect the actual led lights.
